Find work – try Serebra Connect!

Connect with the outsourcing and freelance world with Serebra Connect! Serebra Connect helps you find freelancers or jobs within their site for free. Subscription can be done without encoding your credit card number which I say is perfect for people who are just starting and trying to find long term contract jobs.

A lot of freelance sites make you pay for the membership. And it is very frustrating for some freelance writers and designers to be paying for membership when the bulk of their contracts or work assignments are not really coming from these sites. So they get one or two jobs from one site and another one or two jobs at another bid site. Paying all of the sites you frequent will be very frustrating and costly too.

Here at Serebra Connect you get to subscribe and find work for free. Customer support is also available 24/7. I know you will love the site if you get there. Serebra Connect is totally different. Why don’t you give it a try?

Managing outsource contract workers

Time zones are vital to project completion and coordination. Emails may help a lot with completing any person’s task but we can’t deny that most of the times we would want to really communicate verbally so to speak on certain issues we need to clarify. This is true in almost all projects. We need to talk it over and we need to agree on certain things.

Business is business and we need to outsource projects anywhere in the world that would competently and efficiently help us complete those tasks. Outsourcing could also mean lower manpower cost. See if timeanddate.com website may be of help to you. I always look at this website to see my customer’s time. Of course commitments on that day may matter but as far as time zones are concerned timeanddate is easier to navigate and understand.

Managing your outsource workers

Managing outsource projects is never an easy task. There is the problem of cultural diversity, maintaining effective communication and making sure he shows up at the right time.

I have a great idea. Try to determine if your outsource worker maintains a website. Please try to ask him if he feels comfortable putting up a time and date world clock widget or html at his sidebar. If he is maintaining a blogsite then it can be placed as a widget at the bottom of the site. Still it is best to request him to show both your time and his time for proper coordination.

This solves it. No more counting of hours involve. It shows right there and he will perfectly know when to show up or not. Sounds good?

Mind challenge: thinking outside the box

Thinking outside the box is not only a mindset but a kind of an individual initiative to do what he needs to do to complete his work. But this does not mean that anybody not thinking outside the box does not have any personal initiative. Sometimes people needed to be motivated and guided how to make them think. If you see the potential in your employee and you think you need to train him a little then do it. You will benefit more by training your employee rather than annihilating yourself to protect your businesses. You want skilled workers then value the time to train them.

Outsourcing is a good choice for running your back end. If you feel that you like the services and the commitment of your contract worker then train him to become your trusted outsource partner in progress. First know how to deal with culture diversity, attitude and communication. Communication is very important. Give your instructions clearly with tact and respect. Second send in little work at a time to see the progress and know which part you need to improve. Lastly when you have identified all the areas that needed to be improved then you start training and guiding him how to meet your work expectations.

Experience more freedom and lesser headaches training your contract worker and let him run your business back end support sometime remotely. Allow yourself to focus on your marketing and business profit generation. Build up trust and just let things run putting on little confidence on your remote worker.

Easier said than done? Start the move and let’s see how you groove…
