Beauty at risks

Guys we have identified the most prominent causes of skin cancer now. They are sunburn, sunlight and tanning. People who exposed themselves to the sun in their aim to look more beautiful are what we call as “beauty at risks”.

Sunburn usually takes at least 20 years or more to become skin cancer. It is never a sin to be less beautiful but vanity does increases your risk to developing skin cancer by exposing yourself to too much sun radiation.

You are not to take your health for granted just to be beautiful. A good body contour could be more attractive when you wear flattering dress than the color of your skin. Curves could get better if you eat lots of fruits and vegetables and maintain your daily physical activity like an early morning walk. Please try not to be a beauty at risks.

Preventing cancer through exercise

Exercise may protect girls from future breast cancer. This is one great benefits of sustained physical activity from adolescence through the adult years. Study revealed that women who were physically active as teens and young adults are 23% less likely to develop premenopausal breast cancer. The exercise biggest health impact is determined to be from ages 12 to 22. Regular exercises may be 3 hours and 15 minutes of running or 13 hours a week walking. We all know that gain in body weight is the other risk factor we want to avoid in our late years. The onset of chronic diseases usually occurs in the absence of a sustained exercise and upon weight gain.

So hop on that treadmill and walk… walk… walk…. Fear not the fats accumulation but fear the chronic pain any chronic diseases may offer! Puff and walk it’s good for the heart.

microwaved foods

It is a fact that microwave radiation can heat body tissue the same way it heats food. A study concluded that microwave cooking can changed the food structure. The unhealthy changed took place in the participant's blood. These changes marked a decrease in all hemoglobin values and increase in cholesterol levels. The white blood cells also showed a short term decrease. Thus the microwaved food suppressed the immune system of the participants and has the potential to cause a disease.

Another study experimenting with microwave ovens found out that microwaved foods caused a higher percentage of cancerous cells in blood. It was seen that those ingesting microwaved foods showed a statistically higher incidents of stomach and intestinal cancers plus a general degeneration of peripheral cellular tissues with a gradual breakdown of digestive and excretory function.

These are the articles I've bumped yesterday as I was browsing for my research. So maybe it's high time to make a long research for this microwave ovens which is already found basically in every Americans home. This is convenient though but I just can't understand the rise of young ones having cancer diseases. Could this be the common denominator?

UV

Ultraviolet radiation causes harm to the human eyes leading to blindness. Too much sun exposure like tanning your skin may cause sunburn. The skin tissue may be damaged by the prolonged exposure resulting to blisters and pain. It also is a contributor for skin cancer. You may want to use sunblock to prevent sunburn. Just make sure you also follow the exposure times recommended by the manufacturer.

Extinction: A threat to humanity

An extensive genetic study suggests that the human population almost got extinct 70,000 years ago because of drought. Today the threat to humanity is still extinction. Apparently the causes are war, global warming and ozone depletion. Carbon dioxide is fast building up in the earth’s atmosphere because of industry and vehicle emissions. The growing problem of global warming is giving the scientist a headache. Lower ozone levels will allow the sun’s ultraviolet rays to pierce through the atmosphere that may pose a problem to health and life. The ultraviolet rays may cause skin cancer and DNA damage among plants and animals.

Trying to artificially cool off the planet may have perilous side effects. Climate change is already a major threat. These scientist and researchers are calling on people to take active responsibility in taking care of the planet. Government should be actively educating their people regarding ways and ideas on how to take care of the ozone layer. Government agencies shall also be active in preventing pollution from vehicles and industries. Industrialization progress improves life but it also depletes human population without proper monitoring and regularization.

Women at risks

Women who are taking hormone replacement therapy may be exposed to risk of heart disease and stroke. This is also regarded as an increased risk to cancer especially breast cancer. Cancer risks continues even after these women stopped taking the hormones. Stopping the use of this estrogen and progestin combination may make these clotting factors and other proteins return to normal but not the cancer risk. So if you are taking HRT or Hormone Replacement Therapy please try to stop or consult your doctor. If you are not taking HRT yet please don’t start.
