Controlling multiple computers

All you need is this free, cross platform application called Synergy to be able to control several working computers with a single keyboard and mouse. Synergy connects one keyboard and mouse to any computer within your network. This operates like a dual or triple computer set up. Maybe it could be best understood if we say dual or triple monitor set up. Take note that this works only for computers that are connected within your network.

Synergy allows you to copy text from one machine and paste it to the other which is nothing like VNC or remote desktop. It is software KVM where the mouse and keyboard work for both machines across three monitors. The fact that this is cross platform is already amazing! And this can be incorporated with LAN for organizations.

Synergy easily lets you share a single mouse and keyboard even with multiple computers of different operating system. Synergy is open source if you want to experiment on it. How I came to discover Synergy is because a good friend claimed that he was being hacked. He said he can hear himself and that somebody sees his keyboard. That was odd so I Google search his actual words and came face to face with Synergy. Great eh! He does not understand how it works and so he was claiming he was being hacked lol.
