VBloc therapy: lose weight the easy way

VBloc therapy may stop obesity. It acts by simply blocking the nerves that communicate feelings of hunger and fullness from the brain to the stomach. The VBloc is inserted just beneath the skin. Electrodes are then hooked up to the vagal nerves. The belt that the patient needs to wear transmits electronic impulses to block the nerve’s signals.
