The drinking water supply of at least 41 million Americans were said to contain pharmaceuticals like antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones. Although the concentrations were below levels of medical dose, the presence of prescription drugs like acetaminophen and ibuprofen worries scientist for their long term health consequences. How these drugs got into the water is still unresolved. And the other worry is the adding of the chlorine chemical for water treatment which makes these drugs more toxic. We are exposed to other people’s drugs through our drinking water. Reverse Osmosis technology may remove pharmaceutical but is considered as very expensive for large scale. I guess the robotic technology for warfare and other associated expenses may be diminished to make a solution to this problem first. This affects the lives of both children and adult. The environment’s most effective warfare with humans begins with the drinking water. I hope this will be resolved soon. Definitely this is happening throughout the world as we all are taking pharmaceuticals everyday.
