What happen to Florida teachers?

Florida newspaper made available a confidential nationwide list of about 24,500 teachers that were punished for a wide array of offenses. This list was obtained from Florida Department of Education. No information was provided on the reason of their discipline. Publication at the newspaper’s website allows readers to type in a name and state. The list provides no other information than the date of birth to confirm as an identity. The exodus of teachers coming in to Florida comes next with the Florida Department of Education recruiting teachers from Pennsylvania to fill in anticipated need of about 16,000 for school year 2008-2009. I wonder how Florida parents and students are taking this. It’s never been easy to get actively involved in a massive change at a time. I know policies and requirements will follow soon after the migration. We got to wait the result of these changes. We got to give lawmakers time to prove what they have to prove and merit any development in the process.
