The havoc of war

The population of disabled war vets are increasing as their ears kept on ringing. Corpses and body bags look similar to operating a manufacturing company’s production line. Only this time there is no target production quota but it sure is increasing as the conflict progresses. The devastation that war brings not only physically maims any man but makes a widow out of any woman and an orphan out of any child. It is the gate to one’s misery and traumatic unforgettable experience. Losing self, losing life and losing your identity. War creates another you in you. It creates a beast out of man who is filled with rage, desperation, helplessness and injustice to its victim. It is a never ending cycle because each time one develops rebellion and hatred. They will do everything they can to outlive, outsmart or maybe eradicate a race if possible. I wonder if man will be faithful enough to practice compassion and stop war. The question is how do you convert a man turned beast to what he was once – simply a compassionate man?

American scientist declared that a region of depleted zone over the Antarctic got them worried for years now. The ozone hole allows damaging ultraviolet radiation from the sun to reach the earth’s surface. A regional nuclear war could put the world in havoc for at least a decade. This can shred a very big part of the ozone layer. Massive fires were even determined to blast enough soot into the atmosphere that may create an ozone hole over heavily populated areas. A nuclear-induced ozone hole would cause damage to plants and animals. It is a known cause for skin cancer, eye damage and increase DNA damage. This would mean difficulty in agriculture and food crops production. This could mean living in a world that is unhealthy and hungry. I can’t understand why people outsmart each other in weaponry and battle then destroy humanity and earth in the end.

War, huh, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Uh-huh
War, huh, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it again, y'all

War, huh, good God
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me

Ohhh, war, I despise
Because it means destruction
Of innocent lives

War means tears
To thousands of mothers eyes
When their sons go to fight
And lose their lives

I said, war, huh
Good God, y'all
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it again

War, whoa, Lord
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me

War, it ain't nothing
But a heartbreaker
War, friend only to the undertaker
Ooooh, war
It's an enemy to all mankind
The point of war blows my mind
War has caused unrest
Within the younger generation
Induction then destruction
Who wants to die
Aaaaah, war-huh
Good God y'all
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it, say it, say it
War, huh
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me

War, huh, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Uh-huh
War, huh, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it again y'all
War, huh, good God
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me

War, it ain't nothing but a heartbreaker
War, it's got one friend
That's the undertaker
Ooooh, war, has shattered
Many a young mans dreams
Made him disabled, bitter and mean
Life is much to short and precious
To spend fighting wars these days
War can't give life
It can only take it away

Ooooh, war, huh
Good God y'all
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it again

War, whoa, Lord
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me

War, it ain't nothing but a heartbreaker
War, friend only to the undertaker
Peace, love and understanding
Tell me, is there no place for them today
They say we must fight to keep our freedom
But Lord knows there's got to be a better way

Ooooooh, war, huh
Good God y'all
What is it good for
You tell me
Say it, say it, say it, say it

War, huh
Good God y'all
What is it good for
Stand up and shout it
Nothing

Yup, my old Dad used to say that war is the only thing that creates absolutely nothing that is good. But it is perpetuated these days by the politicians working in the interests of the corporations, and not the people, and that is true for any capitalist country.
