Women who are taking hormone replacement therapy may be exposed to risk of heart disease and stroke. This is also regarded as an increased risk to cancer especially breast cancer. Cancer risks continues even after these women stopped taking the hormones. Stopping the use of this estrogen and progestin combination may make these clotting factors and other proteins return to normal but not the cancer risk. So if you are taking HRT or Hormone Replacement Therapy please try to stop or consult your doctor. If you are not taking HRT yet please don’t start.
