Gardasil vaccine is a vaccine that prevents cervical cancer in girls. This is also an important protection against cancer causing sexually transmitted virus. However reports were noted of girls fainting in pain experienced from the shots. Gardasil is seen to be the first vaccine that targets human papillon virus or HPV causing cervical and vaginal cancer.
