SSS in the Philippines

SSS pensions is given only when one reach the age of 60. And if you retire before that for health reasons you have to wait until you reach that age to receive your SSS pension. Well for those who did avail the retirement and did not quality for their disability program have to find out some means to survive economics to live until 60. Considering the kind of public transportation Philippines have, those with low back pain like mine won't be able to endure the traffic and the over crowded public vehicles. If I am to get it right, I have to stop living for awhile and then resuscitate myself when I reach 60 because that will be the start of my SSS pension and the time where I could get to eat. The logic is, what will those Filipinos with no other income and is poor do between those times that they retire and 60? How will they be able to cope up with cost of living and food? We don't want to depend with other people and families, we are not their burden for life. Government must find a way to restructure pension plans, period or whatever. Uhm I hope there will be future plans in between those retirement and stoppage of work and the time for the pension to start too. There's got to be a way... there's got to be a way.... haaayyy...
